Resolving Inaccessible OneDrive Files

OneDrive is a cloud storage service from Microsoft that lets you save and access your files from any device
If you are experiencing issues accessing your OneDrive files, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:
PROCEDURE:
1. Check Your Internet Connection
- Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. Try switching to a different network or restarting your router.
2. Restart OneDrive
- Right-click the OneDrive icon in the system tray and select Quit OneDrive.


- Open OneDrive again by searching for it in the Start menu and clicking on the app
3. Reconnect Your Account
- Right-click the OneDrive icon in the system tray and select Settings.

- Go to the Account tab and click Unlink this PC.
- Follow the prompts to sign in and reconnect your OneDrive account.
4. Check File Permissions
- Ensure that you have the necessary permissions to access the files. If the files are shared with you, ask the owner to verify the sharing settings.
5. Clear OneDrive Cache
- Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
- Type
%localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset and press Enter.
- Restart OneDrive and check if the issue is resolved.
6. Contact Support
- If the issue persists, contact IT Service Desk for further support
